A guaranteed departure rate means that by selecting that option, the tour will operate with the number of participants you select with that rate. It indicates that you have met the minimum number of guests required, at that rate, for the trip to run.

Please note that a guaranteed departure refers only to participant minimums. It does not guarantee weather conditions or prevent cancellations that may be required for safety, operational, or unforeseen reasons.
